How to Become Listed as a PSP or Clinician · Documents and Training Certificates Required to Register · Training Available

How do I become listed as a

Peer Support Provider or Clinician?

Goldline Rescue uses artificial intelligence to match the specialties/experience of peer support specialists and clinicians to dispatchers and their families who are seeking support. Please carefully check the options that best describe your personal and professional experience with stress and trauma.

Dispatchers in need will be able to search for peer support providers on personal characteristics, physical location, and experience with a variety of stressors. For clinicians, first responders will be able to search based on physical location, insurances accepted, availability of a sliding fee scale, and areas of clinical expertise.

To become a peer support provider:

You must first complete a recognized peer support training course. Currently, graduates of 3 peer support training programs are recognized by Goldline Rescue. At this time, they include:
  • UCF REACT Training Peer Support
  • NOVA Peer Support
  • CISM Training Program Certificate
This is not meant to be exclusive - if you were trained in another peer support program, please contact us so we can review the training curriculum. You will need to upload your certificate as part of the registration process.
You will be asked to list the areas of emotional distress where you feel that you have personal or professional experience. With respect to four common categories of emotional stress – anger, addiction, anxiety/trauma, and depression/suicide:
  • You will see a series of short videos for each of these areas.
  • Each video will have four options using the green, yellow, orange and red designations, which you learned in your training.
  • For each of the four areas – watch the four short videos and click on the color which best describes your personal experience with these areas.
For example, if you have never had a problem with addiction, you would click the green video. If you have had personal struggles with addiction, click the video that best illustrates your experience.
Upload a “headshot” photo of yourself. Do not include other individuals, your pets, or any other physical objects. The picture should show you in work or casual, but appropriate, attire. Goldline Rescue reserves the right to reject any picture that does not meet these guidelines.

To become a registered clinician:

You must complete the Cultural Competency Workshop (for dispatchers) and 10 hours observation on the floor of a 911 call center. Be sure to keep your documentation as you will need to upload it into the registration portal.
Carefully go through the list of specialties, indicating your area of expertise.
